Having been to the interview and talking to the interview candidates, i feel that it is time that i haf a clearer aim and goal in mind..
But are we expected to know what we want in life yet?
We are only 20, full of exuberance, curiosity and the desire to explore, to see the world and to try out new things. It is the age where we have no financial burden, with no family burden, with nothing to lose except maybe pride and time.
I have always admire people with a strong sense of direction, knowing clearly what their goals are and working with an aim in mind.
However, sometimes I wonder whether those are really their true goals. How can they be so sure at a young age of 20 that that is what they want to do or who they want to be for the rest of their life?
There are many ppl who have been chasing things such as monetary gains which they think are important for their whole life. However, they only realised at the very end that what they have missed out is actually the time to care for others, to make an impact on others.
Like a top spinning on the spot. How sad is that?
"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."
